Equipment in the brigade works only when there is someone to maintain it. This area is for people who are good with their hands and understand how machines work.

Auto mechanics and fitters, auto electricians, driver-mechanics, diesel generator operators who are responsible for power. Separately, the unmanned systems workshop: assembling and setting up drones, repairing ground vehicles. And an R&D engineer who works with microcontrollers, firmware and circuit boards.

Civilian experience carries over here more directly than in any other area. Someone who repaired cars at a garage will repair them here too — the vehicles are just different and the deadlines are tighter. No specialised military education is needed; you need skilled hands and a clear head.

The work is done in workshops and maintenance points, not in front-line positions.

The brigade provides the tools and materials. You do not need to bring your own, although nobody will stop you bringing your favourite set.

What sets this work apart from a civilian workshop is the deadlines. A vehicle is needed not "by the end of the week" but today, because a rotation or a supply run depends on it. That is why what is valued here is not speed on your own but the ability to work as a team and see the job through.

Career progression within the area is real: a mechanic can grow into a maintenance supervisor, a UAV technician into an engineer. The brigade would rather train its own people than look for ready-made ones outside.

A specialised degree is not required if you have practical experience. At the interview they look at what you can do with your hands, not at what diploma you hold.
